Please remember that this job is not a forever job. This is something to get through the winter and carry on. This is the only way you can go to Cali at xmas.
Yes, you are way too educated to be doing other peoples' filing and photocopying or even the removing of the staples that they no longer wish to use to hold their papers together. Don't dwell on the fact that you are way too good for this, but just remember that this is not a place to drop anchor. Make some money and leave when spring arrives.
It's only a few months. You can do this really. And maybe, if things really turn around, you may even get a call on the sub job for rocky view. Don't lose hope. Don't give up. Just float.
This may or may not be better than snow removal, the fact that I can't decide is probably not a good sign.

Don't let it get to you when you hear somebody saying "if you have staples to remove or photocopying to do, give it to Alli, it's why we hired her" uhh yeah anybody had made a job posting with that description I would have sent it to "best of craigslist" and laughed my ass off.

I'm pissed.
