Diamonds and guns

Perhaps I will buy myself a diamond ring for valentine's day. I'm thinking that will make me feel better. Spending the money I've been saving for a new car on a ring because I want to die is a good idea... Right? Somebody please convince me otherwise before it's too late...

Every guy I know has bought a girlfriend a ring, usually after about 3 monthes. I'm buying myself one.
