Learning how to smile

I'm trying so hard to smile, but I can't think of one reason to do so. Maybe I'm depressed because I've been up since 8:30 this morning, dealed with grouchy people all day, then came hom and dwelled on that fact that I'm a hideous loser. Or because I'm back on my pill, is it commong for birth control to make people suicidal?
